Daniel + Lois Wedding
A Sunny Autumn Bendigo Wedding
Oh boy, what a day! At the start of the week, the forecast said sunny, and only 12 degrees! We were expecting a cold day! However, as the day quickly approached, the weather was slowly rising, all the way to 18 degrees! What a blessing!
Daniel and Lois’ wedding was a bit different for me than other weddings! I didn’t see any of them prior to the ceremony, so I was just…there. Snapping pictures. But, as the time quickly approached, things started to become more real. You could see the excitement as the boys arrived and eagerly awaited Lois’ arrival.
We didn’t have to wait long until the girls arrived. Lois wanted to capture her dad’s reaction as he saw her for the first time that day, and of course we made that happen! We quickly wound down the blinds so no one could see, captured this special moment, then started the ceremony. From the very beginning, Daniel and Lois wanted to make sure that God was honoured on their wedding day, and their ceremony reflected that perfectly.
After the ceremony was over, we headed to the lovely Rosalind Park, Bendigo for portraits. My goodness, these trees and leaves during autumn are A-MAZ-ING! In fact, we loved them so much, that we pretty much stayed there for the entire portrait time!! Being a public park, there were plenty of people walking around, riding bikes, pushing strollers and just wanting to watch. I am always amazed at how conscious and nice people are when they see wedding photos being done! The amount of people I said “Thank you for waiting, I really do appreciate it!” was crazy! Lois’ colour choice was also completely on point, and I couldn’t have been more excited to take these images!
Thank you for taking the time to look at Daniel and Lois’ day! I’ll leave you to it!
