A Special At-Home Wedding

Last week was an absolute blast! Being able to capture Paige and Connor’s special day is another example of why I love this opportunity. We started off the day unsure of the weather. An outside ceremony was planned, however the rain had other plans. Nevertheless, we continued getting ready and the day was WON-DER-FUL!

I arrived in the morning at Connor’s grandparent’s house in Eaglehawk. The girls were already busy having their hair and make-up done by their lovely vendors. We got our shots, did an amazing father first-look and then it was off to their lovely property.

Connor and Paige had arranged a beautiful ceremony with their closest friends and family in the lovely town of Inglewood, VIC. The stage was set, the guests had arrived and everything was ready to start. The music played as the bridesmaids made their way down the aisle, and in typical fashion, Paige’s chosen song to walk down the aisle just didn’t want to work! We all waited patiently, and after many tries, we had music! The rest of the ceremony was simply amazing. The emotion was all there from everyone who attended. It wouldn’t be a wedding with Paige and Connor without a few jokes, or 10!

For our portraits, we made our way into the middle of Inglewood. We arrived at the Inglewood Town Hall for an amazing location. The white walls and gardens were simply to die for! We were running a bit behind schedule, but didn’t let that stop us from capturing these beautiful moments. One of Paige and Connor’s only requests were to walk along the main road, and I’m so glad they asked! Finally, we headed to the lovely town of Bridgewater down the road where we met another couple (congratulations by the way!) and took full advantage of the railway tracks.

The rest of the evening was full of fun, dancing, emotions and overall great times. Being able to share this day with Paige and Connor’s family and friends was truly an honour, and we can’t thank you enough!
