Josh + Kahli Wedding
A Glorious Wedding In Hamilton
To say that Saturday was a dream is a complete understatement! Josh and Kahli finally got to say “I do” and it was 99% perfect! (I’ll get to why it wasn’t 100% soon!)
My day started with the 3hr drive to Hamilton in order to start at the ceremony. As I was driving, I would normally feel a bit nervous. However, this time was different. After Josh and Kahli’s engagement session, I knew that this day was going to be super relaxed and we’d be able to get amazing results. I mean…look at them. They’re super-stars!
The pure amount of emotion throughout this whole day was crazy! Straight from the get-go there were tears of joy and love shared between all. From Kahli’s dad seeing her for the first time, to Josh seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle…it was all there!
The ceremony ended and we had THE BEST lot of confetti I’ve ever seen. The wind blew, they kissed, everyone cheered…WOW! And then it was time for portraits in the beautiful Hamilton Botanical Gardens right across the road. All throughout the day we were met with full cloud cover, but we weren’t going to let the wet weather get us down. The bridal party brought the energy and we had a really fun time! Josh and Kahli’s other request was to go to the family farm and I NEED MORE TIME HERE! The Grampians in the background, the large trees and old stones…it was an absolute dream! The whole time we were praying for a bit of sun to peek through the clouds at sunset for those golden portraits…but alas, we weren’t successful (there’s the 1% that was missing!)
The rest of the night went off perfectly. I only got to stay for an hour of the reception, but the pizza made up for it! (Like, can we have fresh pizza at every wedding please!)
Anyways. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy the photos!
